An opportunity has arisen to join us on a part time basis as a Service Assistant in Poole. The main purpose of the Service Administrator role is to assist and support the Service Team Managers and to maximise the sale of additional products and services.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Providing an immediate Sandown experience to the customer
  • Answering the telephone in the department when required
  • Taking service booking calls and enquiries directly from the customer when required
  • Meeting and greeting customers into the department
  • The preparation of handover/WIP/job packs for all service customer bookings
  • Support the Service Team Managers (STM) by assisting with administration
  • Support the Customer Relationship Centre staff as and when required.
  • Provide holiday cover where required which extends to working additional days when required
  • Verification of invoicing assisting the After Sales Manager
  • Work with other areas of the business to improve the customer experience.

Essential Skills Required:

  • High levels of attention to detail and highly organised
  • Background in administrative role within a technical environment (preferably within the motor industry)
  • Experience of using multiple computer software systems simultaneously
  • Knowledge of using Kerridge automotive computer system is desirable
  • Experience of processing invoices
  • Experience in a customer facing role and able to demonstrate exceptional customer service skills
  • Maths GSCE at grade 5 (C) or above

Hours of work Monday, Wednesday and Friday 08:00 – 17:00

Occasional Saturday mornings paid as extra hours
