An opportunity has arisen to join us as a Service Administrator at our new Sandown Van Centre in Poole. The main purpose of the Service Administrator role is to assist and support the Service Team Managers to maximise the sale of additional products and services available via the Sandown Van Centre, upsell work, tyres, purge products and service plans.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Providing an immediate Sandown experience to the customer
  • The preparation of handover/WIP/job packs for service customers
  • The sale of service plans to service customers
  • The sale of body repairs to service customers
  • Support the STMs by assisting with administration
  • Provide sickness/holiday cover for STMs
  • The follow up of CRM ‘lost’ service customers
  • Assist with the implementation of Mercedes Benz ‘Starview’
  • 24-hour Roadside Assistance support
  • Co-ordination / Administration of Mobile Servicing

Essential Skills Required:

  • High levels of attention to detail and highly organised
  • Background in administrative role within a technical environment (preferably within the motor industry)
  • Experience of using multiple computer software systems simultaneously
  • Knowledge of using Kerridge automotive computer system is desirable
  • Experience of processing invoices
  • Commitment to the achievement of Company goals and targets
  • Experience of anticipating and understanding customer needs and demands
  • Experience in a customer facing role and able to demonstrate exceptional customer service skills
  • Sales experience would be advantageous
  • Maths GSCE at grade 5 (C) or above

Hours on work Monday to Friday 08:00 – 18:00 45 hours per week Saturdays – 08:00 – 13:00 on a rota basis, paid as extra hours.
