An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as a Finance & Sales Administrator at our Dorchester dealership. The successful candidate will need to be highly organised, have excellent administrative, numeracy and PC skills and enjoy working independently.

Key Accountabilities

As a Finance & Sales Administrator you will need to ensure that the following duties are performed to the highest standards:

  • Processing of all new and used sales transactions from point of order to post delivery.
  • Taxation/registration of all new and used cars and transfer of ownership to new keepers.
  • Adherence to AFRL registration standards and training.
  • Scanning and indexing accurate deal files on the company digital storage system.
  • Ensure that all sales from stock are withdrawn from stock records and that necessary actions are taken to ensure vehicle adoption and payment for new vehicles.
  • Process all requests for vehicles to be transferred out ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete, vehicles removed from stock lists and any necessary payments received
  • Ensure that all finance paperwork is checked for accuracy and is processed in a timely manner prior to delivery
  • To ensure swift pay out from finance company, being sure all documentation is correct prior to presentation to finance company
  • To ensure that all financial processes linked to the vehicle sale are operated in line with Mercedes-Benz guidelines
  • Provide support to the Transaction Manager as required in all aspects of the sales process
  • Handle all internal and external customers and suppliers with courtesy and ensure the Mercedes-Benz experience is delivered to all contacts at all times

Experience in a similar role within the Motor Industry is essential.
Hours of work are 40 per week working 8.30 – 5.30 (one hour unpaid lunch break) Monday to Friday.
