Chery 7‑Year Warranty: Peace of Mind Built In.

When you choose a Chery, you’re choosing confidence. Every new Chery vehicle comes with an exceptional 7‑year / 100,000‑mile warranty, giving you long‑term reassurance and outstanding value from the moment you drive away.

This comprehensive warranty reflects Chery’s commitment to quality engineering, advanced technology, and long‑lasting reliability. Whether you’re commuting, exploring, or tackling everyday family life, your Chery vehicle is protected for the journey ahead.

Every new Chery is built to go the distance and our comprehensive 7‑year warranty is designed to keep you confidently on the road. If any part of your vehicle develops a fault due to a manufacturing or workmanship issue during the warranty period, Chery will repair or replace it free of charge, using new or remanufactured parts. Here’s a simple breakdown of what’s included:

7‑Year Body & Paint Warranty

Your Chery is engineered with durability in mind, and our extended Body & Paint protection offers peace of mind year after year.

Rust Perforation Protection - 12 Years

You’re covered if a body panel develops a hole caused by corrosion from the inside out due to a manufacturing defect.
Just remember to check your vehicle regularly - stone chips or scratches should be repaired promptly to maintain protection.

Paint & Finish Warranty - 3 Years

If manufacturing issues cause problems such as cracking, blistering, discolouration, or surface finish defects, we’ll take care of it.

Please note: Paint damage caused by accidents, environmental fallout (like bird lime), improper maintenance, stones, scratches, or corrosive materials isn’t covered.

Battery Warranty

Your Chery’s original batteries are also protected from the date of first registration:

  • Remote Key Battery: 1 year / 20,000 miles

  • 12V Battery: 2 years / unlimited miles

  • High‑Voltage Battery: 8 years / 100,000 miles (maintained to at least 70% capacity)

For taxi, ride‑sharing, delivery, rental, or other commercial use, coverage differs slightly:

  • Remote Key: 1 year / 20,000 miles

  • 12V Battery: 2 years / 30,000 miles

  • High‑Voltage Battery: 5 years / 80,000 miles (up to 70% capacity)

Tyre Warranty

The original tyres fitted to your new Chery are covered for 2 years or 10,000 miles (whichever comes first) against manufacturing, material, or workmanship defects.

Normal wear and tear, punctures, and damage from external factors aren’t included.

By doing this, you acknowledge that you understand our role as a credit broker, and that we will receive a financial incentive if you take out a loan from a lender that we introduce you to.
