Kia Roadside Assistance offers a level of cover that goes beyond a standard breakdown service. The package includes roadside rescue, at home assistance, vehicle recovery, onward travel and European breakdown cover. Together, these services are designed to support Kia drivers in a wide range of breakdown situations.

Does Kia Roadside Assistance Cover Electric and Hybrid Vehicles?

Yes. Kia Roadside Assistance includes breakdown cover for both electric and hybrid vehicles. Recovery vehicles are equipped to safely tow electric and hybrid models, allowing assistance to be provided efficiently without the need to wait for specialist equipment.

If Kia can't fix your vehicle at the roadside they will transport you and up to six passengers to your nearest Kia dealer or your destination anywhere within the UK*

Kia will provide a replacement car for up to two days while yours is being fixed*

Kia is here to provide assistance even outside of the UK. Kia European Breakdown covers you in 48 countries in continental Europe. Broken-down vehicles are fixed at the roadside and either recovered to a local garage for repair or repatriated. Kia also cover certain motor-related legal expenses.

How much does Kia Roadside Assistance cost?

If the complimentary cover on your Kia has expired or is about to expire, don’t worry. You can continue with Kia Roadside Assistance for £69 a year, the Advance package for £99 a year, or the Plus package for £129 a year. All plans are provided by the RAC and can be purchased online at rac.co.uk/kia. Alternatively, you can buy by calling the Kia Roadside Assistance number, 0330 159 0418.

Kia Roadside Assistance: Frequently Asked Questions

Roadside assistance, also often referred to as breakdown cover, is an emergency assistance service to help drivers or motorists who have broken down. Usually, roadside assistance will send a mechanic to you to fix your vehicle and, if this isn't possible, tow you to somewhere where it can be fixed. Kia Roadside Assistance can also supply a replacement car for onward travel for up to two days while your vehicle is being repaired.

Kia Roadside Assistance is free for 12 months with every new Kia. Following this, drivers can choose one of three options:

- Kia Roadside Assistance costs £69 a year (£8.17 a month) and offers Roadside and Home cover, as well as Recovery

- Kia Roadside Assistance Advance costs £99 a year (£10.67 a month) and adds Onward Travel coverage

- Kia Roadside Assistance Plus costs £129 a year and adds both Onward Travel and European Cover

Yes, our Roadside Assistance package includes At Home Rescue, which means that you're covered before you even start your journey.

Unfortunately, you cannot use Kia Roadside Assistance services unless you have purchased the package. Our car breakdown services are provided directly by RAC, so once you buy a package with us you become an RAC member.
