The GT Concept

Mercedes-Benz revealed how innovative driving systems are changing at the Geneva Motor Show through the unveiling of the GT Concept.

The uniquely styled four-seater has been created as the third completely autonomously developed sports car drawing styling inspiration from the existing two seat GT sports car.

The GT Concept is unrecognizable against the genuine AMG GT at first glance, due to the unmistakable design qualities and the reduced surface styling. The concept car represents added performance and strong characteristics of the AMG family. The GT Concept was publicized as part of AMG’S 50th anniversary celebration.

Advanced AMG characteristics consist of the new slim line main headlamps, side air grills, and vertical ribs painted red on the sides of the concept car.

The GT Concept features four frame less doors, a fixed B-Pillar and a panoramic glass roof. Alongside a large tailgate design that is similar in style to the previous GT sports car, providing uninterrupted access to a deep and easily accessible boot.

The drive system of the AMG GT Concept represents a completely new development through segment specific hybrid driving performance and maximum driving pleasure. There are three operating moods available on the AMG GT Concept, through pre-selection purely electric functioning to just the combustion engine.
