As a valued customer of Sandown, I would like to reassure you that Sandown takes very seriously the risk of Coronavirus (COVID-19).  To this end, we have dedicated significant expertise to ensure that we implement the government’s guidance and instructions so that all of our Retailers are safe for our customers and colleagues - our absolute priority is that we take all necessary measures to protect our customers and each member of the Sandown team. 

All Sandown Retailers are open and staffed for sales, service and parts business and all our telephone and electronic communication channels will continue to operate as normal. 

In the event that you are more comfortable to engage with us remotely, we have implemented processes and systems to enable you to deal with us completely remotely for all transactions – we can manage all enquiries and complete vehicle sales, service and parts transactions without your needing to visit our Retailers.  We also have the necessary IT infrastructure and process to answer all your telephone calls and respond to your electronic communication both now and into the future – we are permanently available to support you.

I have detailed below some of the specific actions we have taken and processes we have implemented to make your dealings with us convenient, enjoyable and, most of all, safe: 

Your safety whilst visiting our Retailers:

  • Each member of the Sandown team is fully up-to-speed on the actions we are taking and behaviour expected to protect you and our team
  • We have cancelled all offsite meetings and training for Sandown employees
  • There are very visible notices of appropriate sanitation procedures in all areas
  • All high contact surfaces are cleaned periodically throughout the day
  • Disposable gloves are available at all of our entrances
  • Credit card machines are wiped down after each transaction
  • All demonstrators are thoroughly cleaned by valeters wearing gloves and additional cleaning materials are available in demonstrators for your use if required
  • Your steering wheel is sanitised and covered with a steering wheel cover before any service work is carried out
  • Our technicians and valeters wear gloves at all times while working on your vehicle.

Your convenience:     

  • We offer vehicle collection and delivery for both sales and service, including non-contact procedures at your home
  • All documentation is available to be signed electronically
  • Free video conferencing can be utilised for both Sales and Service departments
  • Pay over the phone is available at all our Retailers.

To ensure that our colleagues are protected, I’d be grateful that, if you are showing any symptoms or if you have had to self-isolate due to potential exposure to the virus, you contact us prior to your visit so that we may discuss the best way in which we can manage your requirements.

We are prepared for your next visit to our Retailers, whether it be remote or physical, and are available for you to call us to plan your visit.
