New Mercedes-Benz CLA Named ‘Saloon of the Year’ at TopGear Awards 2026

The new Mercedes-Benz CLA has been awarded the prestigious title of ‘Saloon of the Year’ at the 2026 TopGear Awards. The award was accepted by Axel Heix, Director of Development for Compact Cars at Mercedes-Benz AG.

As the first model in a new generation built on the flexible Mercedes-Benz Modular Architecture (MMA), the electric CLA 250+ boasts a range of up to 484 miles¹ and supports ultra-fast charging at up to 320 kW². The advanced Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS) seamlessly integrates every aspect of the vehicle, from infotainment and automated driving to comfort and charging.

The all-new CLA is available to order now, with the electric CLA 250+ Saloon starting from £45,615³.
