The all-new Mercedes-AMG E-Class.
The all-new Mercedes-AMG E 53 HYBRID 4MATIC+ combines a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder engine and an electric motor, boasting an impressive output of 430 kW / 585 hp.
The hybrid transmission combines high-performance, unmatchable driving dynamics and efficiency to provide the driver with the most exciting drive. In the fully electric driving mode, you’ll be able to get up to 62 miles of emission free driving, without compromising the cars dynamics.
AMG-specific design elements
The new Mercedes-AMG E 53 HYBRID 4MATIC+ stands out with numerous distinctive design features. The AMG-specific radiator grille with vertical slats is illuminated as standard. The front wings are eleven millimetres wider on each side compared to the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, accommodating the larger front axle track width. The boldly contoured outer air inlets, each featuring two vertical fins, and the central A-wing define the unique AMG front apron. The large central lower inlet channels air to the additional AMG front cooler, and there is also an external opening for the wheel arch cooler.
Fully variable all-wheel drive AMG Performance 4MATIC+
The standard all-wheel drive (4MATIC+) offers optimal traction, ensuring high driving stability and safety on dry, wet, or snowy roads. An electromechanically controlled clutch variably distributes the driving force to the front and rear axles in each driving mode. This guarantees maximum traction, driving dynamics, and safety in all conditions, all year round.
AMG driving programmes with a widespread
From efficient to dynamic: The AMG DYNAMIC SELECT driving modes are precisely tailored to the plug-in hybrid's drive technology. They adjust key parameters such as the response of the drive and transmission, steering characteristics, chassis damping, and sound. In addition to the familiar driving modes "Comfort," "Sport," "Sport+," "Smoothness," and "Individual," the new Mercedes-AMG E 53 HYBRID 4MATIC+ introduces two hybrid-specific modes: "Electric" and "Battery Hold."
