The Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E PERFORMANCE.
The Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance come with:
  • E PERFORMANCE hybrid drive with 600 kW (816 hp) system output

  • Fastest acceleration of an AMG series model: from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds

  • Standard with roll stabilisation, all-wheel drive, rear axle steering and ceramic high-performance composite brake system.

More on the E PERFORMANCE:

Born from Formula 1® racing and engineered in Affalterbach, Germany, the AMG High Performance Battery pushes the limits of power and endurance.
Just like athletes, batteries perform best within a specific temperature range. When they get too chilly or overheat, they lose power or need to be throttled back to prevent damage. Traditional cooling systems, using just air or indirect water cooling, struggle to maintain optimal battery temperature, especially with increasingly powerful batteries.

Ready to unleash power, anytime.
Inspired by the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula 1 car's hybrid system, the AMG High Performance Battery prioritises instant power delivery. Just like F1 drivers, you get maximum thrust whenever you need it – for bursts of acceleration out of corners or overtaking manoeuvres. Regenerative braking and on-demand charging constantly replenish the battery, ensuring a steady stream of electric power. This separate battery system allows for a perfect balance between thrilling performance and efficiency. All parts work in perfect harmony, so you feel the surge in power immediately.

Unveiling the secrets of superior handling: Active Aerodynamics.
The AMG GT top model boasts a hidden gem – an active aerodynamic element tucked away beneath the engine in the underbody. This ingenious carbon fiber profile, a patented AMG development, automatically adjusts to enhance driving control. At speeds exceeding 80 km/h, the profile seamlessly extends downwards by 40 millimetres. This triggers the Venturi effect, essentially sucking the car onto the road and minimising front-axle lift. The result? A more planted and responsive driving experience.
