Electric and Hydrogen powered hybrid GLC F-Cell goes into preproduction
While the evolution of plug-in electric powered cars has been in full development by various manufacturers for years, Mercedes-Benz have taken this one step further through the introduction of the GLC F-CELL. In a world first, the vehicle will be powered by an innovative hydrogen fuel-cell and battery technology. With a preproduction range of over 270 miles, the vehicle aims to make electric powered traveling suit both everyday practicality and long distance motoring. This is possible by installing two different means of power which can work together and independently. All this technology comes with no compromise to the Mercedes-Benz brand, style and luxury with the vehicle including heated seats and automatic air conditioning with pre-entry climate control as a standard feature. Although a release date has not been officialised, the future direction of Mercedes-Benz looks even greener!
